___Stow your mower

___Store hoses and turn off outdoor water

___ Drain and turn off sprinkler system

___Seal cracks around doors and windows

___Clean your gutters

___Inspect your roof

___Direct drainage away from your house

___Get your furnace serviced

___Prune your plants

___ Look up Chimney for blockages; check damper is working.
